History

DSUS, formerly the DAN School DSC, is a newly established Undergraduate Society at Queen’s University. Founded in 2019, the Society continues to improve and grow while establishing itself at Queen’s.

The Society’s overarching purpose is to enhance the academic, and social experiences of the DAN School of Drama and Music student body. The Society represents the student body in communications to the AMS, faculty, and School.

DSUS operates for the betterment of the DAN School’s student body; The DAN School of Drama and Music in Queen’s University was founded in 2016, following the merger of the former Department of Drama (founded 1947) and School of Music (founded 1969). In principle, the DAN School embraces all the many disciplines that collaborate to realize the professional performing arts.
