The DAN Student Artist Series
SAS
The DAN Student Artist Series (SAS) is a student-run concert series that is presented in collaboration with the DAN School of Drama and Music and DSUS to offer a performance experience for musicians at Queen’s. Much like our other productions, this series is entirely student-led and all performance spaces are open to students to play works from their study (similarly to a solo recital). This experience gives students the opportunity to experience production, auditions, and performance in a lively concert setting.
This series is modelled after the Faculty Artist Series presented by the DAN School of Drama and Music. Performances of solo and accompanied works are encouraged, with chamber groups and other student led ensembles being able to perform as well. Students in Applied Study (MUSC X20, 21, and 24) are particularly encouraged to apply to gain performance experience for their programs.
